Overview

Seat Comfort Systems (SCS) is a U.S.–based, family-owned manufacturer of custom seat heating and cooling systems for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Known for fast turnaround, hands-on collaboration, and high quality, the company needed a brand that reflected its scale and 25+ years of expertise. While SCS maintained strong relationships with long-term clients due to its reliability and problem-solving culture, it struggled to attract new business due to low market awareness. This issue was heightened by a leadership transition to the next generation, prompting the need to invest in branding to better position the company for future growth.

The Idea

The SCS brand was rebuilt brand by shifting its focus away from end consumers and repositioning it as a reliable, innovative engineering and manufacturing partner that helps seat manufacturers enhance their products and drive sales—captured in the new tagline, “Reliability at every degree.” The brand was no longer about the products, but rather the ingenuity and innovation behind the it, conveyed through a dynamic and striking visual language that emphasized technical advancement. This was further amplified through a new website and digital online presence.
