Ontario Hunter Jumper Association
Overview
OHJA is a 30-year-old, not-for-profit equestrian association who’s mandate is to support competitive riders through points tracking, programs and education. The organization had been deeply impacted by regulatory changes in funding resulting in a significant increase in membership dues without any added value to the members.
The Idea
Following consultation with the association’s newly appointed president, it was determined that the organization required a major transformation and deeper leadership engagement to remain viable long-term. A new mission and vision revitalized the board, leading to a 3-year strategic plan and key business-building initiatives focused on growth and value. A comprehensive brand strategy was developed in alignment with the plan, resulting in a new visual identity and brand video under the tagline For the love of competition, while capturing the dynamic and fierce sense of competition through the design language.
